The Argentine midfielder believes the Dutch international brings a lot to the team, and would like to see him back in the starting line-up as soon as possible
Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso has urged team-mate Wesley Sneijder and the club to settle their contract dispute quickly for the benefit of the team.
The Dutchman is yet to renew his current deal at the San Siro, and although coach Andrea Stramaccioni says he has not been playing due to injury, club director Marco Branca claims he will not be included until he has extended his stay.
"We are all hoping that the situation can be resolved as soon as possible. We all know how much he is worth to our team," he told Eurosport.
"It is now something that the club and the player need to evaluate in private."
Following Monday's defeat to Parma, Inter currently sit in fourth place in Serie A, four points adrift of league leaders Juventus.
