Russian swimmer and Olympic bronze medallist Vladimir Morozov says he is delighted to be able to compete at the Rio Olympics after having his ban for alleged doping overturned.

"I am not a fan of giving interviews before the start of the competitions, but I have to say that I am very happy to be here today with all of you. The last couple of weeks have been very tough with ups and downs. This is something that has impacted me the most. But I would like to thank the Russian Swimming Association as well as the Ministry of Sports of Russia and all the fans that supported me. They managed to gather over 200 votes in support of my participation in the Games. There was no negative message in and thanks so much to all of those of supported me and believed in me."
SOUNDBITE (English) Vladimir Morozov, Russian swimmer:(On his feelings now that he can compete at the Rio Olympics):
"Of course I am happy. Of course I am happy, but still the feeling is left there. It was not very justified what I had to go through just two weeks before the Olympic Games. But of course I am happy. I am racing. That is all that matters."
SOUNDBITE (English) Vladimir Morozov, Russian swimmer:(On what he says to people who do not wanted him to be at the Olympics and those who are concerned by the doping allegations against the Russian team):
"I have to say a big thank you to the fans who believed in me and who supported me. But to the people who don't: I don't have to proof anything. I know that I am a clean athlete. There is nothing I have to proof."
