Reaction after Terry Collins' New York Mets cut their deficit in the best-of-seven MLB World Series to 2-1 after beating Ned Yost's Kansas City Royals 9-3.
Script:
SOUNDBITE (English): Terry Collins, New York Mets manager (on not wanting to go down 0-3 in the series):
"Sure, when you get down 3-0 it's really difficult. I just thought it was a real big game for us. When we set up the rotation, the way Noah had been pitching, you kind of look at that Game 3 as a pivotal game, anyway. You're 1-1 or down two, and he delivered. He came through exactly how we expected him to. And we really believe Steven Matz will go out tomorrow night and do the same job."
SOUNDBITE (English): Ned Yost, Kansas City Royals manager:
"I do. We've all got a lot of confidence in our group. We've got Chris Young going tomorrow and we feel good about that. He's, again, the ultimate competitor. Nothing is going to mess with him, the weather, nothing is going to mess with him. He's going to go out and execute pitches and keep us in the ballgame until we get to our pen. Our pen is in great shape. Matz is going to be tough tomorrow. Got a really, really good curveball and really good fastball. But we're swinging the bats good. So we're all really confident."
