John McGinn to Man Utd
John McGinn would be worth “every penny” in the eyes of Ian Taylor, even if Manchester United's interest in the Aston Villa star leads to a big-money move.
“I think the likes of John McGinn can go all the way and play at the very highest level,” Taylor, speaking on behalf of GentingBet, exclusively told Express Sport.
“The thing is, he did sign a new contract not so long ago. It’ll cost a lot to prise him away from our football club.
“I don’t know whether that price tag will scare people off or not. He’s made big, big strides since he came last year.
“It’ll be a massive price hike if someone does put the money down to buy him but I think he’d be worth every penny.”

Daniele Rugani to Arsenal
Arsenal remain interested in Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani.
That’s according to Italian publication Il Bianconero, who claim the Gunners are tracking the 25-year-old defender.
Arsenal, who are without a manager after the dismissal of Unai Emery, have been linked with Rugani for a couple of years.
And his lack of competitive action under Maurizio Sarri could see the Premier League club finally get their target in the January transfer window.

Maurizio Sarri raid
Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is eyeing double raid on his former club Chelsea when the transfer window opens in January with Willian and Emerson Palmieri in this sights.
Sarri left Stamford Bridge in the summer after just a season in charge but both players made a big impression on him and he now wants two reunite with them.
Italian international Emerson who was born in Brazil won a Europa League with the Blues last season has only appeared nine times under Frank Lampard.
Sarri is ready to offer Chelsea around £20 million for the left-back, 25, who spent three seasons playing in Italy with Roma before moving to west London two years ago.
Juve also want Brazilian winger Willian who is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to agree to a new deal to stay at the club.

Solskjaer sack update
United chief executive Ed Woodward has made a decision over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future amid rumours that he could be in the firing line before too long.
The Red Devils have struggled recently, and Mauricio Pochettino becoming available has done little to squash the speculation.
However, The Star say United chief Ed Woodward has apparently decided he will not sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer no matter what happens this season.

Kylian Mbappe? Why Not?
Liverpool could complete a huge transfer for PSG striker Kylian Mbappe, according to former Reds defender Stephen Warnock.
But Jurgen Klopp may struggle to get any deal over the line because players aren’t confident they can win the Ballon d’Or if they play for a club in the Premier League.
"Would Kylian Mbappe go to Liverpool? You know what, why wouldn't he come? Why wouldn't he want to play against the best players in the Premier League and really test himself?” Warnock told the Liverpool Echo.
"I think the one problem we face over here with players like that is they often feel like they can only win the Ballon d'Or if they go to Real Madrid or Barcelona. Why can't there be a shift? Why can't there be a Premier League team who dominates Europe for a number of years?”

Erling Haaland latest
Manchester United are keen to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland in the January transfer window but much could depend on what happens with Paul Pogba.
Mino Raiola represents both players and for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to sign Haaland he may end up having to sell Pogba.
At the moment, the super-agent is believed to want the teenager to join Serie A giants Juventus.
But that stance could well change if Pogba makes a mega move to Real Madrid.

Robert Lewandowski to Man Utd?!
Manchester United have been urged to sign Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski in January as they try to secure a return to Champions League football.
The Poland international is one of Europe’s most in-form strikers having scored 27 goals in 21 games in all competitions this season, with Bayern Munich unlikely to sell up.
Despite that, former United defender Clayton Blackmore has backed his former side to attempt the permanent signing of the 31-year-old, who now has 399 career goals in 595 outings.
“They need to get a top striker who the players can learn from,” Blackmore told the Daily Star. “I’d like to see Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski come in. He’s 31 although still scores goals for fun.”

Memphis Depay transfer
Tottenham and Liverpool are interested in signing Dutch superstar Memphis Depay.
Depay has been linked with a return to the Premier League - three years after his disastrous spell with Manchester United.
And Italian website Calciomercato claim Spurs or Liverpool could offer up to £42million for the Lyon forward, who has scored 41 league goals in 99 games since moving to Ligue 1.
The 25-year-old managed only seven goals across his 53 appearances for the Red Devils, but he revealed last year that Jose Mourinho wanted him to re-sign.
The winger said: "When I left, I said to Mourinho 'you will see me at the top.' He said 'OK. I hope that, and I hope we will buy you back one day.' I never had a bad relationship with him."

Chelsea double raid
Chelsea are keeping tabs on Wilfried Zaha and Jadon Sancho as they initiate plans to bolster their wing options.
Willian and Pedro are out of contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer which would leave Frank Lampard with just Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi as first-team flankers.
Lampard regularly plays two wide men in his preferred 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 formations and, according to The Telegraph, Zaha and Sancho are targets.
Crystal Palace warded off interest in £70million-rated Zaha in the summer, while Dortmund value their England international at a staggering £100m.
