Jese Rodríguez Once Paid €5,000 To Eliminate Ex-Girlfriend From Reality TV Show

Jese Rodríguez once paid €5,000 in text messages to eliminate his ex-girlfriend from the Spanish version of Big Brother.

The ex-Real Madrid and Stoke City winger split up with girlfriend Aurah Ruiz in 2018, and he shelled out a huge chunk of change on texting votes to remove her from the reality TV show.

The couple went through a very public breakup, which saw Ruiz take Jese to court where she accused him of neglecting his duties as a father.

Jese took revenge on the model when she appeared on Spain's Big Brother.

His petty plan actually worked as she was the first person to be eliminated from the show.

Meanwhile, Jese completed a deadline day move by securing a season-long loan to Sporting CP from Paris Saint-Germain.

"I am very happy for the opportunity Sporting CP is giving me. It is a historic club in Portugal," he said.

He can't wait to get started after speaking to former Sporting youth product Cristiano Ronaldo.

"I have a friend named Cristiano Ronaldo who has always told me very good things about this club, which created him from a young age. I am very excited to start training with my colleagues," he added.

"I have seen the players the team have and I think we can do something important. We will fight for all competitions. With joy and work we can achieve good things."

Jese, who broke through at Real Madrid, has failed to fulfill his early promise as he looks to resurrect his career in Portugal.
