Laura Bragato is famed in Italy for her 'lucky bum'

An Italian superfan hailed in her homeland for her "lucky bum" has declared her allegiance to West Ham United.

Laura Bragato – dubbed in her homeland as Italy's "sexy face of football" – amassed a huge online following after sharing snaps of herself wearing Italian football shirts.

When the likes of Juventus or Napoli played in big games, she would pose in only their jerseys and her underwear on Instagram.

She is also a friend of Manchester United star Jesse Lingard, who she says she still stays in touch with.

And now the Italian model says she is a fan of east London side West Ham too.

On Instagram, she shared a snap of herself at the club's London Stadium with the words: "I bring luck to West Ham then."

One fan wrote: "Ok so you’re gorgeous AND I’m a West Ham fan, so I really love this picture."

Another said: "You're rooting for the wrong team, it should be Liverpool."

Laura has been in London on holiday, where she has been enjoying some of the city's finest hotels.

It marks another celebrity coup for the Hammers, after fans were thrilled to see retired adult actress Mia Khalifa wearing an Irons jersey on Instagram.

Mia became a Hammers fan after watching the film Green Street, a fictional film about West Ham's hooligan firm.

She also attended the club's 1-0 win over Arsenal in January.
