LIVERPOOL fans are OUTRAGED that Naby Keita didn’t receive a penalty after the Guinean was tripped by Maya Yoshida in the penalty area.
Keita, who equalised for Liverpool, was marauding into the box when Yoshida seemed to clip Keita’s leg, forcing the midfielder to the floor.
Reds supporters will rightly feel aggrieved, as Jurgen Klopp’s side were looking for an all-important winner that would put them back in front of Southampton.
Earlier in the game, Keita scored his first goal for Liverpool - a towering header after Mohamed Salah crossed for him.
And naturally, Liverpool fans are fuming with the decision made by referee Paul Tierney.
Here are some of the best responses on Twiter:
One wrote: “If there was VAR....liverpool's goal would be offside, and THAT would have been given as a penalty for the foul on Keita. Contact made.”
Another said: “Will Keita ever get a pen?”
One noted: “I think that's a penalty by the letter of the law.”

One Liverpool supporter vented his anger, tweeting: “That's the Keita we want. It's the Keita we need. Oh and that's a f***ing penalty.”
Another agreed, writing: “Keita has been unlucky there. Not the first time he's had a decision of that nature go against him.”
One seemed confused, tweeting: “Clear penalty on Keita wtf.”
Another social media user said: “That’s what Keita was doing for Leipzig, unlucky not to get a pen there.”
Another questioned why Keita was not given a yellow card, writing: “If that's not a peno.....why hasn't Keita been booked for diving?”
One vehemently questioned the ref’s decision, tweeting: “On what planet is that a dive? There’s clear contact and Keita has the right to go down.”
And finally, one wrote: “It should be penalty for Keita, it was clearly a foul.”
Liverpool ended up winning the game thanks to a fantastic solo goal by Salah, before Jordan Henderson tapped in late on to make it 3-1.
