Liverpool's Sadio Mane wasn't happy
Liverpool forward Sadio Mane was back on Senegalese international duty on Saturday.
Mane played 90 minutes as Senegal beat Madagascar 2-0 in an African Cup of Nations qualifier.
M'Baye Niang scored a brace as Senegal qualified for Egypt 2019 as group winners.
But after the match Mane wasn't best pleased with the infrastructure back home.
The match was played on the Stade Lat Dior in Thiès, however the Liverpool striker wasn't impressed with the state of the pitch:
We are happy with the result, even if it is not our best match but the main thing was to win, to take the three points.
Now, we are the leaders of the group and I think that was the most important (thing). The state of the field was not really good, a country like Senegal, we must try to improve the football fields so that we can flourish.
The good news for Liverpool fans is that Mane wasn't injured in the Madagascar match.
Sadio Mane vs Tottenham
When the Premier League restarts next weekend, Liverpool take on Tottenham.
Liverpool will hope to beat Spurs at Anfield to stay top of the division.
The Reds know that if Man City will all their remaining games, the Sky Blues will be champions.
Who will Mane be up against when Tottenham come to town?
It's unlikely to be Ivory Coast international Serge Aurier, after he sustained a muscle injury while on international duty.

Kieran Tripper is likeliest to start, while Kyle Walker-Peters is an alternative option.
Tottenham, of course, are third in the Premier League and battling for a top four finish.
