Premier League clubs are ready to go when the window opens on January 1.
After seeing the summer window shut early a number of deals could be done by Premier League sides.
Paul Pogba is in limbo at Manchester United after falling out of favour under Jose Mourinho.
Arsenal need a defender and Chelsea want to bolster in a bid to keep Eden Hazard happy - while others will be active next month.
Transfer news LIVE updates
Leeds done deal
Leeds United have agreed to send Samuel Saiz to Getafe on loan for the rest of the season.
Leeds has admitted his readiness to return to Spain 18 months after joining the West Yorkshire club from Huesca.
The 27-year-old will join Getafe on loan from January 1 - the day the transfer window opens.
There are claims Leeds want Brentford midfielder Lewis Macleod as a replacement for Saiz, although it is not yet known if the Whites intend to spend big in January or not.

Mourinho sack threat
Jose Mourinho is under pressure at Manchester United but Express Sport understands he will not be sacked just yet.
Mourinho is the bookies’ favourite to next get the boot after United’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.
But United are not intending to replace their manager just yet, with United gearing up for the busy Christmas period.
It is not known if Mourinho will be trusted with cash to spend in the transfer window come January - and were United to withhold funds it could be an indication that the boss is soon for the chop.

Malcom offer
A Chinese club have made an offer to sign Barcelona outcast Malcom.
The winger joined Barca from Bordeaux in the summer but has struggled to get a place in the team.
He’s been linked with moves away and now AS are reporting there is a firm offer on the table.
It’s claimed a Chinese side are ready to pay £58m (€65m) for his services.
Arsenal Suarez latest
Arsenal boss Unai Emery would prefer to strengthen his defence and attack than sign Barcelona ace Denis Suarez, it has been claimed.
Football London say Arsenal are unlikely to secure the signature of the Spaniard.
And that is because Emery would rather strengthen other areas of his squad.
It is said Arsenal could dip into the market once the transfer window reopens.

Mourinho wanted Shaqiri
Jose Mourinho was keen on signing Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer, before he moved to Liverpool.
The Manchester Evening News say Mourinho was keen to sign the Switzerland international back in the summer.
Shaqiri signed for Liverpool from Stoke in a bargain £12million transfer deal.
But Mourinho, it is claimed, had gushed over the player to close confidants prior to his move.
Pogba exit ‘no big deal’
Paul Pogba could leave Manchester United in January, and it would be ‘no big deal’ according to Roy Keane.
Pogba was an unused substitute against Liverpool on Sunday and Keane thinks he’s finished at Old Trafford.
"If he's sitting on the bench today and not getting on then you're thinking his days must be numbered,” Keane said on Sky Sports.
"I don't think they'll do anything with Pogba in January but come the summer you move him on and it's no big deal, he's left Manchester United before."
Unai Emery talks January deals
Unai Emery is hoping to sign a defender and a winger next month after losing Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck for the season.
But he admits it will be difficult to bring people in during the January window.
"We don’t have a lot of possibilities in January,” said Arsenal boss Emery.
"It’s not easy. January is not good for transfers, but we are going to look. We are giving young players chances but we need a high level in the squad.”
Chelsea close in on Pulisic
Chelsea are confident of winning the race to sign Christian Pulisic in January.
The Borussia Dortmund ace is into the final 18 months of his contract and is on Chelsea and Liverpool's radars.
But, according to the Mail on Sunday Chelsea are confident of a deal for next month.
Chelsea are in talks for a £60m transfer and hope to agree a fee before the window opens.
