Neymar wants to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid's directors are continuing to study the possibility of bringing Neymar to the club and they have now been told that the Brazilian would be happy about playing with Cristiano Ronaldo.
There had been concerns over how the two superstars would get on if they were to form part of the same squad, but the Brazilian would welcome the challenge of playing alongside the current Ballon d'Or holder.
It is also believed that Ronaldo wouldn't have a problem with having Neymar alongside him.
He understands that the potential arrival of the former Barcelona forward would improve the level of the squad.
Negotiations are ongoing over an improvement to Ronaldo's salary, so this could keep the Portuguese player happy in a financial sense, even if Neymar would be earning big bucks as well.
A deal to bring Neymar to Real Madrid would, though, still have to be struck with Paris Saint-Germain and the Real Madrid directors are keen to show the French club respect and to do things the right way.
The idea was for Neymar to be brought in during the summer of2019, but a distance has clearly grown between the player and his current club.
However, there is no release clause in his contract with the new Ligue 1 champions, so an exit path must be studied.
While the situation is a complicated one, what is clear is that the gestures Neymar has made towards Ronaldo and Real Madrid in recent months have been positive and numerous.
First, there was the photo at the FIFA gala, then there was the hug between the two players on the pitch of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu after the Champions League last 16 first leg and now there is the player's desire to play with Ronaldo and all of the other stars of the Real Madrid dressing room.
