One of world's best considers future amid interest from Manchester United - report

Manchester United fans here in the Tavern are feeling rather relaxed as the season comes to a close, with Champions League football almost secured for next season.

Interestingly, the Red Devils won't be too displeased with how this season has panned out, as bitter rivals Manchester City were an unstoppable force on their way to the Premier League title. Although, many of our local Mancunians received some positive news recently, as according to Socrates Magazine, Jerome Boateng is considering his future at Bayern Munich.

Interestingly, the German is one of the names at the top of Manchester United's wanted list, as Jose Mourinho is looking to revamp his back-four this summer.

And, Jerome Boateng has admitted that he's considering his future at Bayern Munich, amid interest from the Red Devils.

The 29-year-old had this to say:

"I've experienced everything at Bayern, and I am slowly coming to a point where I must answer myself certain questions.

"What are the goals I have not reached yet? Do I, time and time again, want to prove myself at the same club with the same pre-conditions?'

"Those are not necessarily classic questions regarding the career, but vital questions and, in the end, questions that drive people."

Manchester United supporters will be delighted that the German is thinking about his future at Bayern Munich, as Jose Mourinho may be able to lure him to Old Trafford in the summer. And, with the Red Devils looking to bring in a number of defensive players in the summer, perhaps this will make them favourites for the Premier League title next season.
