Gareth Bale won't be coming home - because Premier League clubs can't afford him

Gareth Bale has been out of favour in recent months at Real Madrid
GARETH BALE will stay at Real Madrid next season – because no Premier League club can afford to bring him home.
Manchester United and Chelsea are both long-term suitors of the Welsh ace, who has found it difficult to get a regular run of games with Real this season.
Manchester City and Liverpool have also been linked with the former Tottenham man, along with Bayern Munich.
But – partly because of the costs involved in signing him – the 28-year-old is believed to be ready to stay and fight for his place in the Spanish capital next season.
Real would demand almost all of the then world-record £85million they handed Tottenham in 2013 to sign him.
Bale’s family are settled in Spain – and he has a lucrative contract worth £350,000 a week, which runs until 2022.
Bale has struggled at Real Madrid for the past 18 months after a stunning start.
He has won three Champions League titles in his previous four seasons and remains in the hunt for a fourth in five years.
But things have gone stale for him and Madrid.
Their league campaign has been a complete disaster and they face a huge battle to even topple Atletico Madrid to second place. The title is well out of reach.
The Champions League is their saving grace and defeat in that would be the final nail in the coffin for a number of players with Bale potentially one of those players.
