Real Madrid are ready to step up their interest in Mohamed Salah
REAL MADRID are reportedly ready to offer Isco and close to £45million in order to sign Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.
The Egypt international has established himself as one of the world’s most lethal attackers through his displays for Liverpool this season.
He scored yet again in the 3-0 win over Manchester City on Wednesday night to take his tally for the season to 38 in just 43 games across all competitions.
But his scintillating performances have also led to rumours suggesting some of Europe’s biggest clubs could try their luck with a mega-money offer in the summer.
Liverpool have proven in the past they are willing to sell if a player express their wish to leave and they are offered the right price.
Salah has not yet expressed a desire to leave Anfield anytime soon and recent reports have claimed Liverpool are considering offering him a bumper new contract as reward for his first year on Merseyside.
But Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim Real are ready to step up their interest in signing the 25-year-old.
It is said the La Liga giants are hoping to use Liverpool’s interest in signing Isco to their advantage.
And they are reportedly willing to offer the Spain international plus roughly £45million in return for Salah.
Liverpool have not entertained the thought of selling the forward this summer and are keen to prove they are not a selling club.
Jurgen Klopp admitted earlier today that it was touch and go whether Salah will be fit to face Everton in the Merseyside derby.
He picked up a slight knock in the win over City and the Liverpool boss is unlikely to risk his the Premier League’s leading goalscorer ahead of the Champions League second leg on Tuesday evening.
