Spurs are ready to match Norwich City's £25 million valuation of James Maddison. (Mirror)
The 21 year old has 14 goals and 10 assists to his name this season and has been phenomenal for Norwich throughout the campaign.
The Canaries are currently 13th in the table and have no chance of promotion to the Premier League next season.
Maddison has certainly proved his quality and would love a shot at top flight football.
Chelsea, Manchester City and Everton are all in the market for Maddison who clearly has a lot of admirers.
Maddison won his first cap for England's under 21 side back in November when he came on for the final few minutes against Ukraine.
Who is James Maddison?
Maddison is a talented playmaker with an eye for a killer pass.
He grew up playing for Coventry City before moving to Carrow Road in February 2016.
Maddison spent the first half of last season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen.
He was an instant hit in Scotland, registering 2 goals and 3 assists in his first 4 games.
Would he suit Tottenham?
No team has had as many young English players succeed in their set up as Tottenham over the past few years.
The Tottenham youth set up is second to none, particularly for young British players.
Although Tottenham did not produce Gareth Bale and Dele Alli, the two players developed at the club and became two of the game's biggest and best players.
Harry Winks and Harry Kane are two great examples of players who have progressed through the Tottenham set up and become regular starters for the side.
Tottenham do give youth a lot of opportunities and Maddison is far more likely to play regular football for Spurs than he is for any of his other interested clubs.
Maddison would find it difficult to break into the Spurs side considering their squad is filled with talented players but he could certainly become a key player for them in the years to come.
