Chelsea close agreeing deal to appoint Luis Enrique as manager over the summer

Paris Saint-Germain have given up on their pursuit of Luis Enrique with an understanding that the former Barcelona manager is set to join Chelsea over the summer, according to Le Parisien.
Both PSG and Chelsea are looking to replace their current managers Unai Emery and Antonio Conte in the summer, with both clubs disappointed by their progress over the course of the current campaign.
The Blues and Conte are excepted to part company in the summer, with Enrique close to agreeing a deal to take charge of the West Londoners as of next season.
After spending a year away from football since leaving Barcelona, Enrique looks set to return to the management scene, with Chelsea the expected destination.
Currently sat 5th in the Premier League and out of the Champions League, the club’s hierarchy are disappointed with the job current manager Conte has done this season.
With an expectancy that the Italian will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, Chelsea have gone about the search for his replacement.
Their search looks to have proven fruitful already, with PSG bosses striking Enrique’s name off their own list, with the Spaniard looking to set to be appointed by Chelsea.

The former Juventus coach has endured a miserable second season at Chelsea, with their title defence in tatters.
It is understood that Conte will return to Italy at the end of the season, with either Inter Milan or a return to the national team a likely destination.
