Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez’s girlfriend breaks silence on pregnancy rumours

ALEXIS Sanchez’s stunning girlfriend Mayte Rodriguez has denied rumours she is pregnant in her first tell-all interview about their relationship.

Although they have made no secret of their relationship on social media, actress Mayte has been reluctant to talk about her love affair with Arsenal star Alexis, 28, in public.

But she opened up about her feelings for the frontman in a gushing interview with the Chilean version of glossy magazine Hola.

She said: “Today I’m sharing my life with a marvellous person.”

Quashing growing speculation in her homeland she and Alexis are set to start a family imminently, she insisted: “The day God gifts me with a child, I’ll be the luckiest woman to give life.

"But I haven’t been nor am I pregnant, I’m just living a very beautiful moment in my life, enjoying the present and following my instinct and being faithful to my feelings.”

The 28-year-old showed off her bikini body on Panama's Pacific Coast for Hola.

She also revealed she had met Alexis at a barbecue after breaking up with her actor boyfriend-of-five-years Tiago Correa.

Mayte added: “I met Alexis when I was getting my life back on track.

"I just lived the moment as I felt it. I flowed and we took the time we needed. We were getting to know each other and then it became a more serious relationship and we told our loved ones and the relationship became public.

"Things followed their course naturally like in any relationship. I think the most important thing is to be happy.”
