No one can believe the amazing goal Wayne Rooney scored for Everton

Wayne Rooney hasn't enjoyed the best of returns to Everton after leaving Manchester United and it seems that both personally and professionally he's struggled – but against West Ham United and his former manager David Moyes, he shone.

Rooney got a hat-trick and usually that would be enough to have people talking, but it was his third goal that really got people off their seats, with the volley one of the best goals in Premier League history according to some, and it will certainly have given Everton fans something to smile about for the first time in a long time.

It won't have done Rooney's chances of impressing his new manager Sam Allardyce any trouble at all, with the three points Rooney won for Everton sending them up the table as well and condemning the Hammers to another defeat and making it even more miserable for Moyes on his return to Goodison Park.
