There was a good atmosphere at The Best FIFA Football Awards, with Cristiano Ronaldo's eldest son garnering a lot of attention, but the most interesting moments came as the players, coaches and representatives left the London Palladium, with Neymar keen to get a photo with Ronaldo before heading back to Paris.
The Brazilian, who finished third in The Best FIFA Men's Player standings behind Ronaldo and Messi, sought out the Portuguese in the middle of the London theatre and posed for a photo; first of all with just the two of them before Neymar's father joined in for another.
"I wanted to congratulate Ronaldo," Neymar said afterwards, further praising the 32-year-old.
"He deserves the prize.
"Real Madrid won LaLiga and the Champions League, and they deserved it.
"He is a great player."
The Paris Saint-Germain attacker was close with the Madrid players, as well as Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta at the ceremony, but he was distant from Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu; the differences between the two appear to have not been solved.
Now we need to know if there is something behind the photo with Ronaldo, or whether it is just a souvenir with the winner of The Best.
