A political message at the Camp Nou
Posted Wednesday, October 18, 2017 by Marca.com
The Camp Nou's doors will be opened again on Wednesday night as Barcelona welcome Olympiacos in their Champions League group meeting, and there will be a Catalonian political tifo displayed on one side of the stadium.
Club president Josep Maria Bartomeu recently requested dialogue between the parties involved in the controversial Catalan referendum for independence, and the tifo will take inspiration from his words and read "Dialogue, respect and sport."
Additionally, the vice-president of the Catalan National Assembly, Agusti Alcoberro will be present in the presidential box at the Camp Nou for the match.
