Steven Gerrard has told Liverpool fans to stop panicking about their mediocre start to the season.
The Reds currently sit in seventh place, two points off third-place Tottenham, but there shaky play at the back has fans worrying things will not improve as the season goes on.
However, Gerrard believes it is too early for fans to worry and he has backed Jurgen Klopp to lead the Reds out of their rut.
"We're seven games into a Premier League campaign - there's no time to panic," Gerrard told the club's website.
"We've got a wonderful manager and coaching staff that are looking after these players.
"I think everything is fine. I'm not one that jumps on the bandwagon and listens to criticism after seven games."
