Van der Sar reveals what made Cristiano Ronaldo better than Rooney
All played together at Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo has become one of the world's best players and former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar has revealed one of the secrets to his success.
When the two played together at Old Trafford, the Portuguese used to work specifically on his shooting after training - like most forwards, but with a slight twist.
While many attackers stay back after training to improve their finishing, they generally keep a youth team goalkeeper to fire shots against, but Cristiano used to request that Van der Sar - one of Europe's best goalkeepers - stayed back with him.
Additionally, Ronaldo's work rate and the care he took of his own body and wellbeing put him a level above most other players, particularly Wayne Rooney.
"Both worked incredibly hard on the pitch," the Dutchman said.
"But Ronaldo took thinks to a new level.
"Off the field he rested properly and really strengthened his body."
Of course, Ronaldo then left for Real Madrid, where he took his scoring ability to a whole new level.
