James Rodriguez's wife tells hilarious story about Pique's son and Real Madrid forward

Real Madrid and Barcelona are huge rivals, yet it doesn't stop the son of Gerard Pique – probably the most vocal anit-madridista in the squad – being a massive fan of one Real Madrid star.

The player in question is James, and the information was revealed by Skahira, the fiance of Pique, who said to James' wife, Daniela Ospina, that he owned a James shirt!

She said: "Shakira, in a second, said to Milan: 'Look, she's the daughter of James!'

And Milan said: 'I have the James 10 shirt'."

Of course, she may have been referring to the Colombia shirt, given Shakira is of course the same nationality as James, and he also wears the number ten shirt for his country.

Staying at Madrid?

At one time, it seemed James looked certain to leave Real Madrid, after being unhappy with his game time and even being caught on camera, swearing at Zidane, yet it seems he's now happy to remain at the club, and as is Isco, who also struggled for game time, yet is having his best season in a Real shirt.

It speaks volumes about the level of the Madrid players that they can keep the likes of James and Isco on the bench at times, and the club look like heading for their third Champions League final in four years, after a huge 3-0 win in the first leg against neighbours Atletico Madrid.
