When it comes to the Manchester derby, the state of Arsene Wenger's tenure at Arsenal is the last thing on many people's minds.

However, that wasn't the case at the Etihad this evening, as there was yet ANOTHER Wenger-related banner to join the growing list of recent fly overs.

As the big game was kicking off in Manchester, supporters were treated to a WengerIn.com banner flying over the stadium.

However, this was far from being about football.

On further inspection, WengerIn.com appears to be promoting the Parklife 2017 music festival.

Looking very fetching there, Arsene.

The festival, which features the likes of The 1975 and Frank Ocean, takes place in Manchester in June.

And that is probably one of the best marketing ploys we've seen in a while.

The festival is jumping on the recent bandwagon of flying banners over stadiums.

This season, we've already seen a battle of the banners over the Hawthorns stadium when Arsenal visited West Brom.

Chelsea fans even showed their appreciation for manager Antonio Conte in their recent FA Cup clash against Spurs by flying over a “Antonio! Antonio!” banner, complete with a Chelsea badge.

Wenger's contract situation at the Gunners has seemingly engrossed the football world this season, with Arsenal struggling to compete with the top four in the Premier League this season.

They also suffered a humiliating 10-2 defeat (over two legs) against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, to complete a season to forget for the North London side.

As a result, there's been a host of WENGEROUT signs seen across the globe, in various events ranging from WrestleMania to a rugby match in New Zealand.

Arsenal play Tottenham in the last North London derby at White Hart Lane at the weekend.

We're not sure how popular a WengerIn banner would be there, mind.
