The passing of time is something that no man can stop. Inevitably we all have to get older but it beats the inevitable to be honest. At some point age will catch up on us and we won't be able to do what we once could, but it looks like it's a while off just yet for Francesco Totti.
AS Roma legend Totti has been with the capital club longer than most of our readers are likely to have been alive and is the only player to have been on every FIFA game from 1996 until the most recent edition FIFA 17.
The 40 year old joined Roma in 1989 and started playing for the first team as long ago as 1993.
And yet despite the fact that he's been playing pretty much forever, the legendary Italian is still doing at the top level with Roma,
Totti has made 11 appearances this season and scored two goals and proved in a training match with Primavera, Roma's second team, this afternoon that he's very much still got it with this perfectly struck goal.

Luciano Spalletti's first-team squad won the match 3-1 against their reserves in front of a watching group of Roma fans.
Totti's incredible playing career is likely to come to an end once this season finishes with the club having offered him a six a year deal to become a director when he hangs up his boots for the last time.
It'll be a sad day for football when 'Il Gladiatore' retires!
