John Terry is wanted in China by former Chelsea pair Luiz Filipe Scolari and Gus Poyet
Terry is out of contract at the end of the season and it appears that his career with the Premier League leaders is coming to an end.
The 36 year-old is unlikely to be offered a new deal by Chelsea which would finally bring an end to his 21 year stay at Stamford Bridge
It appeared that the 36 year-old would be leaving last summer until a last minute change of heart saw him sign on for one more year.
But he is being offered the chance to end his career with a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League where two clubs are bidding for him.
Former Blues boss Luiz Felipe Scolari is keen to take him to champions Guangzhou Evergrande after he turned them down 12 months ago.
While Gus Poyet is under pressure to bring a big name to Shanghai Shenhua by the local government who are keen to promote the region.
They are willing to under write the vast majority of the £320,000 a week wages that he could command from having two clubs keen.
The one sticking point is that he would have to leave the club before the end of the season with the Chinese transfer window closing at the end of February.
It would mean that he could miss out on the chance of helping The Blues win the Premier League crown for a fifth time during his time in West London.
