RIP OFF: City fans have slammed the pricing for the club's new designer range
The Premier League giants have signed a deal with DSquared2 to make their gear for matches in their Champions League clashes.
But the clobber that will be worn by City boss Pep Guardiola, 45, and stars like Raheem Sterling, 21, will set supporters back hundreds of pounds.
The bomber jacket costs £670, jeans are £265 and the white trainers are £305, according to the Canadian firm’s website.
SNAPPY DRESSER: Pep Guardiola will don the gear for Champions League matches
And a white shirt like the one worn by the players is £170, while the grey jumper is £325.
Fans hit out at the prices with one writing: “Go to Primark you can get the whole outfit for fifty quid.”
Another wrote: “A jumper for £325. That’s a joke right”, while a City fan added: “Honestly, who is going to buy this overpriced gear?”
JOKE: Tailored suits for the players will be unveiled later this year
Guardiola’s men wore the trendy jumpers and jackets for last week’s game with Barcelona which they lost 4-0.
They are set to wear the gear again in next month’s clash with Borusssia Munchengladbach in Germany.
DSQUARED2 has agreed a multi-year contract with City for the “casual sport traveller” range.
It will unveil tailored suits for the players including Sergio Aguero, 28, and John Stones, 22, later this year.
The fashion firm defended itself and declare that the outfits were “inspired by the club’s rich heritage; mixing Italian and English tailoring codes with modern touches”.
