Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano rejects China option

Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano has turned down a lucrative move to China.
Sport says Mascherano has taken the step to ask his agent, Walter Tamer, to not even listen to the offers which could arrive from China's emerging league.
After months of talks, Mascherano agreed a new deal with Barcelona, which will be signed when he returns from the current international break.
He wants to complete his contract with Barça and is not thinking about packing his bags for an exotic adventure.
Mascherano has no intention of leaving Camp Nou until, at the earliest, after the World Cup in Russia in 2018.
