7M Weekly - Man City and Barca move to sign Bellerin

Dele Alli put pen to paper over a new six-year deal, with this new Tottenham Spur contract tying the England international to the club until 2022.

Alli joined Spurs from MK Dons in February 2015, and he has been a surprise package in north London since making his Spurs debut in August last year, helping the club challenge for the Premier  League title and being selected for England's Euro 2016 squad, albeit in a somewhat tragic way both times. Back in England, the 20-year-old has bagged 11 goals and 9 assists in his 38 Premier League appearances for Mauricio Pochettino's side so far.

He follows teammates Christian Eriksen, Eric Dier, Tom Carroll and Harry Winks, who have all extended their contracts in the last month.

* Phil Jones could be on the way out at Manchester United

According to the Sun, Manchester United are ready to axe Phil Jones and have already decided to sell the defender in January.

There was some talk that Jones would leave the club during the summer window but that never happened. However, with the 24-year-old yet to take the field in a competitive game due to knee injury, he has been unable to convince Jose Mourinho that he should be in United's first team.

His impending exit appears to have alerted the attention of two of the Red Devils' rivals: Liverpool and Arsenal. But their interests are still up in the air.

The centre-back's priority now is trying to get back to action sooner rather than later.

* Manchester City and Barcelona will move to sign Hector Bellerin in January transfer window

7M Weekly - Man City and Barca move to sign Bellerin

Manchester City and Barcelona are determined in their pursuit of Arsenal full back Hector Bellerin. They asked about him in the summer transfer window and will return in January.

Barca need a new right back after Dani Alves's departure to Juventus and Bellerin began his career in Camp Nou. City also have strong appeal in the form of former Barcelona midfielder Pep Guardiola who was an idol for Bellerin growing up but more significant is the presence of Mikel Arteta at the Etihad.

Bellerin has been in talks with Gunners for months but has yet to extend the four-year deal he signed in 2015.

He has made huge progress since breaking into Arsene Wenger's first team when £12 million signing Mathieu Debuchy was injured.

In May, he made his debut for Spain and was selected in the squad for Euro 2016.

* Jose Mourinho wants to sign Lucas Moura

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Lucas Moura, according to his agent.

After an inconsistent start at the Parc des Princes, the 24-year-old has been a regular in Unai Emery's side this season, scoring 5 goals in 7 appearances for the defending Ligue 1 champions.

Lucas moved to PSG for around €45 million from Brazilian giants Sao Paulo in January 2013 amid interest from other clubs, including Real Madrid, where Mourinho was the manager.

Lucas has scored 31 goals in 177 appearances since Joining PSG, and has been capped 35 times by his country, scoring 4 goals.

* EPL Matchday 5

Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool:Only after 17 minutes, Philippe Coutinho set up Dejan Lovren to score the first goal of the game for Liverpool. And Henderson curled home a superb strike to help Reds extend their lead 19 minutes later. Diego Costa fired in a goal in the second half, though. Klopp's side hung on till the end to condemn Chelsea the first loss in new season.

Hull City 1-4 Arsenal:The first goal came after 17 minutes, too. Alexis Sanchez put Arsenal ahead before missing the penalty in the 41st minute. After the break, the lead was doubled by Theo Walcott. Sanchez then added a third, his second in this game to make up for that missed opportunity after Snodgrass scored a consolation from the spot for Hull City in the 79th minute. And Granit Xhaka wrapped up the victory for the Gunners with a late stunner.

Manchester City 4-0 Bournemouth AFC:Manchester City extend their victorious run to eight games after a resounding victory over Bournemouth. Raheem Sterling and De Bruyne were definitely in the zone, with both of them scoring goals in the 48th minute and 15th minute respectively, providing assists for Iheanacho and Gundogan to add a second and fourth goal for City.

Watford FC 3-1 Manchester United:Red Devils suffered further disappointment following their Manchester derby defeat, and so did Jose Mourinho. It was the first time that he had lost three straight games in a season since 2006. Even when he reached rock bottom at Chelsea last season, the Portuguese tactician didn't lose three games in a row.

Real Madrid:Real Madrid overcame RCD Espanyol 2-0 on Matchday 4 before they were held to a 1-1 draw by Villarreal. However, a win and a draw are enough for the Whites to stay atop the league after 5 games.

* Serie A Matchday 4 & 5

Juventus:A frustrated Juventus demolished Cagliari 4-0 on Matchday 5 following their 1-2 defeat to Inter. The clash on Matchday 4 only burst into life in the final 30 minutes as Napoli's top target this summer Icardi levelled the score in the 68th minute after Lichtsteiner's goal gave Juventus the lead. But Inter's Perisic scored the winner later on. Only after a few days, the old lady got back on track with a comprehensive victory. Rugani, Higuain, Alves and Ceppitelli all scored a goal.
