The 34-year-old, who holds a record 121 caps for his country, announced his retirement following a dismal Euro 2016 campaign, where Pavel Vbra's side exited the group stages with just a single point.
Cech posted an image of him in the dressing room with his Czech team-mates on Twitter with confirmation of his decision to quit the national set-up.
"We lived some amazing moments together – Wishing the team all the best for the future #CZE," the veteran keeper tweeted.
The former Chelsea star made his senior international debut in 2002 and represented the Czech Republic at four major tournaments: Euro 2004, the 2006 World Cup, Euro 2008 and Euro 2016.
