Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has won the 2015/16 Premier League Golden Glove, following David De Gea's stoppage-time concession on Tuesday evening.
Prior to Manchester United's rearranged game against Bournemouth, De Gea was on 15 clean sheets for the season - just one behind Cech, meaning the award would have been shared.
The Spain international looked to have secured his first Golden Glove as United were cruising to a 3-0 home victory, but Chris Smalling ended his teammate's chance of individual glory.
Smalling diverted the ball into his own net in added time, gifting Cech the honour outright.
On a personal note, the Arsenal stopper has enjoyed a great debut season in north London following his switch from rivals Chelsea last summer, worth a reported £100,000-per-week (via the Daily Mail).
His team failed to win any silverware, unlike the previous two seasons, but Cech's presence was a big factor in the Gunners claiming a second-place finish in the top-flight - their highest position in 11 years.
He and De Gea played an identical number of games (34) over the term. The United man missed the first four matches due to his failed transfer to Real Madrid, while Cech picked up an injury in March.
This Golden Glove is the 33-year-old's fourth in England, following his previous stellar seasons in 2004/05, 2009/10 and 2013/14.
