Daryl Janmaat breaks fingers after punching wall during Newcastle defeat

Newcastle defender Daryl Janmaat had a weekend to forget.
Just when you think things couldn't possibly get any more absurd at Newcastle, Daryl Janmaat managed to cause himself an injury following his side's dismal 3-0 defeat against Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
Janmaat was forced to leave the pitch in the first half after tweaking a hamstring, but it was a bizarre dressing room incident that saw the Dutch full-back leave the stadium in a sling after the game.
According to the Chronicle, Janmaat was so livid that he punched a wall, breaking two fingers in the process.
That said, the paper also report that neither of his injuries -- the hamstring or the hand -- are expected to rule him out of next weekend's do-or-die match against Swansea.
