Alberto Moreno and Mamadou Sakho appeared to be pleased with Liverpool’s away goal after Thursday night’s 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have a slight advantage ahead of next week’s second leg at Anfield after the Premier League side managed to score a vital goal in the Europa League quarter-final at Westfalenstadion.
Belgium international Divock Origi made the breakthrough with a clinical finish just before half-time and the former Lille man could have added a second but for a good save from Roman Weidenfeller.
Dortmund were level inside two minutes of the second half after Germany international Mats Hummels powered a header home from a Dortmund corner.
But the Bundesliga title contenders couldn’t find a winner and Liverpool held on for a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the last-eight clash.
And Sakho orchestrated a dressing room selfie with Moreno following the Europa League clash.
Sakho wrote: “Thank you for your support 👍🏿 #YNWA #LFC #Liverpool #dortmundliverpool”
Liverpool will host the German side at Anfield in the second leg next Thursday.
