Angers secured their first win in eight Ligue 1 matches by thrashing Lorient 5-1.

Angers took the lead in the 14th minute when Billy Ketkeophomphone fired home from an angle and they doubled their advantage in the 34th minute through a Thomas Mangani header.

Mangani then set up Romain Saiss to make it 3-0 after 40 minutes before a slip from home goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier, two minutes later, enabled Lorient's Majeed Waris to pull a goal back.

A Cheikh N'Doye strike made it 4-1 nine minutes from full-time before Mangani rounded off the scoring with a stoppage-time penalty after a foul by Lindsay Rose in the box.
