Fan spots Arsenal keeper Petr Cech on rush-hour train during day

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has used a rather unconventional travel method for footballers nowadays, by using public transport during the rush hour madness.

Instead of taking the preferred mode of transport for a Premier League star of a fast sports car, the 33-year-old decided he would hop on a South West Train, to get home.

Cech and his Arsenal team-mates have been given a few days off after a busy festive period, before facing Sunderland in the FA Cup on Saturday, followed by a tricky away tie against Liverpool at Anfield next Wednesday.

It seems like the 33-year-old used his time off  to enjoy some of the attractions in the capital.

Whilst many may have not recognised the Arsenal stopper without his trademark helmet and huge gloves, one fan was able to spot the football star, and took a cheeky snap of the keeper during the rush hour commute home.

Good spot.
