Manchester United are tracking Lazio forward Felipe Anderson with a view to bringing the attacker to the Premier League, according to La Repubblica.
The Brazilian announced himself on the European stage last season with a number of stellar Serie A displays as Lazio qualified for the Champions League play-offs, before being knocked out by Bayer Leverkusen.
And Van Gaal has reportedly identified Anderson as a player who could improve the Old Trafford club's potency in forward areas, though any potential transfer is likely to cost up to €45 million, with Real Madrid's James Rodriguez also high on the Manchester United wishlist.
