Andrea Pirlo posted a picture on his Instagram account showing him together with his two children and Leo Messi.

The Italian veteran, now at New York City FC, was in Dubai at the same time as the Argentina star for the Globe Soccer Awards, where Messi picked up the prize for best player of 2015. Pirlo posted his snap with the brief but telling comment "Great encounter with the best".

Clearly the legendary midfielder is yet another of the legion of Messi admirers.
