Michael Owen came out with some strong opinions on BT Sport after Man United were dumped out of the Champions League.
With the pain of the defeat at Wolfsburg clearly raw, Owen savaged his former employer.
The former striker claimed Man United have been terrible for the past 18 months under Louis van Gaal.
Owen’s takeaway was simple: it’s all Van Gaal’s fault.
He claimed the Red Devils are playing poorly “week in, week out”, and the Dutch manager is under “severe pressure” to hold onto his job.
