Man United plotting unbelievable multi-million pound move for flamboyant forward

Manchester United supporting punters here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are quite literally gobsmacked at the news they are reading in Metro (via Fichajes) – with the publication claiming that United are plotting an outrageous £143.9 million bid for Barcelona star Neymar.
This news has caught the attention of every single punter in the Tavern, and our landlord is in shock also!
The media outlet suggests that the Red Devils have been handed £200 million to spend on players to help enhance the squad, and it seems that a large part of that will be targeted towards the Brazilian ace.
Our landlord here in the Transfer Tavern cannot envisage seeing Neymar ditch the Nou Camp for Old Trafford anytime soon, and also cannot imagine Man United wanting to part with that amount of money to lure the flamboyant forward to the club.
A plethora of Man United fans enjoying an early Christmas dinner here in the Transfer Tavern, feel that Neymar would undoubtedly be an amazing addition to the club, but paying anything near £143.9m is utterly ludicrous!
