Saido Berahino’s saga along with David De Gea’s transfer failure was maybe one of the most dramatic during last summer transfer window. The 22-year-old striker did not hesitate to show the anger by Twitter because the West Bromwich did not let him leave to join Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Spurs reportedly are on the verge to lose the Englishman once again, as Berahino hinted for All Trafford move and apparently ‘liked’ two videos featuring the Manchester United.
However, as often happens in such cases, the young attacker has seen its performance worsened compared to last season. Berahino bagged just three goals in his 11 Premier League appearances this term, while he managed to score 20 times in his 46 games (3.444 minutes) in all competitions for The Baggies in previous season.
It’s clear that Berahino is determined to change a workplace and the defending Champions Chelsea are also monitoring the situation around promising player and could make early January move then the transfer window reopens.
