AC Milan have completed the signing of Juraj Kucka from Genoa on a permanent transfer and the star has signed a contract until the 30th of June 2019, the club have today confirmed.
The 28-year-old Slovakia international started his youth career in his home country with Prievidzsa, before joining Radvan and then Podbrezova.
The midfielder spent a large of his time at his home country and made his name with Sparting Praha, where he was for two years in between 2009 and 2011 scoring 11 league goals in 45 matches.
Kucka then moved on to Serie A to join Genoa and the midfielder spent four years with the Italian side, playing in a hefty 120 matches for Gian Piero Gasperini’s men.
Kucka, who has 41 caps for his country, was ever-present for Genoa in Serie A last season, playing in 34 games, but scoring just two goals in the process.
Kucka did impress for Genoa and did enough to warrant interest from an ever-evolving AC Milan side, who have bolstered heavily this summer.
The Rossoneri have already brought in the likes of Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano, and Sinisa Mihajlovic has turned to Kucka to bolster his midfield.
Juraj Kucka had a 76% pass accuracy in the league last season.
The Italian giants also brought back Mario Balotelli to the club this week, as they look to get back to the good times.
