Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain took to social media on Monday afternoon to share a picture of himself enjoying a hug from a monkey while on his holidays.

The Gunners midfielder has been enjoying some downtime following Arsenal’s FA Cup triumph over Aston Villa and his omission from the current England squad.

Oxlade-Chamberlain shared the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Baby Dior”

The 21-year-old struggled with injuries for Arsene Wenger’s men this season and was left out of the England team for the games against the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia.

However, the midfielder appears to be enjoying himself on holiday following the end of the season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was limited to just 17 Premier League starts for Arsenal this season as Wenger’s men ended up in third place in the table.

He scored three goals and made three assists for the north London side in all competitions and made three appearances in the FA Cup.
