Falcao set for fresh loan deal

Radamel Falcao Garcia's move to Chelsea continues to take shape.
Jorge Mendes, his agent, is working on securing a move to Stamford Bridge as soon as possible.
The deal is all but done. The fine print of the contract will be identical to the one signed between Monaco and Manchester United last season. Falcao will move to London on loan for a sum of around E7 million and the Blues will have a purchase option, which was in the region of E50 million for Manchester United. There will not be much difference in the fee Chelsea will have to pay if they want to keep the Colombian striker on a permanent basis.
As occurred at United, Chelsea will take care of paying the player's wages. The former Atletico man pocketed around E15 million a year with Monaco and reports in England claim that the London club may have asked the striker to lower his wage demands slightly in order to seal a deal.
The only thing which might postpone an official announcement is Falcao's involvement in the Copa America with Colombia. 'El Tigre' dodged the issue on his arrival at the Colombian national team camp: "I'm not worried. My agent is taking care of it. I know there are some offers, but my priority is the Copa America."
