Monk hoping Swansea add depth

Garry Monk feels it is crucial for Swansea to invest in the transfer market this summer in order to build upon the clubs highest-ever Premier League finish.
Monk led the Swans to eighth in the table in his first full season in charge despite losing talismanic striker Wilfried Bony in the January transfer window.
Now the 36-year-old hopes to consolidate Swansea as a top ten force in the Premier League and hopes the club can do the business in the transfer market which will enable him to do so.
"Next season, staying in the league will be so important with that new TV money that kicks in the following season," Monk said.
"Everyone is going to be fighting for that so I am expecting the competition to go right up.
"We will recruit like we always do and look for the right targets that are hopefully affordable and available and try and strengthen in that way.
When asked if he expected significant changes, Monk said: "No, not really. The quality that we have is very, very good.
"It is just adding quality to that and that little bit more depth which we haven't has this year.
"It is really to add that depth of quality because we are going to need it and that is how we will go forward.
