Mario Balotelli Good News Story: Stayed back on his own after Liverpool training, signed ball for fan

Even by the standards of the Wacky World of Mario Balotelli, it was a pretty tumultuous week.

First there was the disappointment of being subbed off at half-time against Real Madrid for not working hard enough, then the whole Shirt-Swappinggate, followed by  a possible police investigation into alleged threats made to a woman who he saw taking pictures of his car.

Then came tabloid speculation that he’s now playing for his Liverpool future; no, it wasn’t the best of weeks.

But showing that he’s not going to let it all drag him down and that he’s ready to knuckle down to work, Balo stayed behind at Melwood on Friday afternoon, by himself, to do extra work.

And signed a football for a couple of young fans peering over the fence. The Youth will never turn its back on Mario.
