Nemanja Vidic: Get your shooting boots on, Roo ’n Rob!

KILLER TOUCH ... Vidic wants 'clinical' finishing
His combination with Welbeck earned praise last season.
But Welbeck netted just 12 — with only nine in the league.
Former Arsenal star Van Persie and Rooney hit 57 league goals between them last season and if they can get close to those figures in the same team the title will be heading to Old Trafford.
Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke bagged 35 league goals between them in the 1999 Treble season.
It is unlikely Roo ’n RVP will form a straight front-two partnership like them.
Rooney should operate at the centre of a three in behind Van Persie.
The bigger problem for Ferguson is at the back and he will be praying Rio Ferdinand can win his fitness battle soon.
Injuries to Rio, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Jonny Evans forced Fergie to deploy Michael Carrick at centre-back.
Marouane Fellaini took advantage of the mis-match to score Everton’s winner from a corner.
Defender Vidic added: “We knew it would be a hard game.
“They did what they’re best at — playing long balls and focusing on set-pieces.
“They had a few chances and deserved to score but we’re never happy when we concede from a set-piece.
“When you come to places like Everton who will play long balls into the box you need big, strong defenders but we won’t use injuries as an excuse.
“I thought the players who came in gave their best and hopefully we’ll have a couple of defenders ready for the next game.”
Alexander Buttner sealed his £4m move from Vitesse Arnhem yesterday to strengthen United’s ranks at the back.
Buttner, 23, signed a five-year deal and will provide competition for Patrice Evra.
Ferguson said: “Alexander is one of the best young left-backs in Europe and we’re delighted to sign him.
“He is someone we have been watching for a while now. He gives us some really exciting options in that position.”
United old boy Paul Pogba has blasted Fergie.
The Frenchman made just seven sub appearances in two years before going to Juventus on a free transfer last month.
While Ferguson branded the midfielder “disrespectful” for leaving, the 19-year-old said: “The coach trusted me but he didn’t play me, saying I was too young.
“He said my time will come but it never did. A 19-year-old who said ‘no’ to Ferguson — maybe he took it badly?
“I don’t regret anything about my decision.
“My objective was to play and I’m impatient. I want to become a regular starter and one of the best players in the world.”
