Carlos Tevez
Since moving to Manchester City last summer, the little striker has proven beyond doubt that United made a mistake letting him go. An excellent goal return has made him a hero at Eastlands, going some way to justifying the fee (which some put at £47m) that City paid for him. Argentina are an unknown quantity at this summer's tournament with Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi involved - but it's not incomprehensible that Tevez could end up making that £47m look like a bargain.
