Peterborough wait on duo ahead of Doncaster clash

Peterborough hope to have George Boyd and Frazer Blake-Tracy back in the mix for Thursday’s Sky Bet League One home game against Doncaster.
Midfielder Boyd and defender Blake-Tracy need to prove their fitness in training for boss Darren Ferguson ahead of the Boxing Day encounter.
Peterborough captain Mark Beevers is another player who hopes to be available, but he will need to shake off a calf muscle injury.
But the Doncaster fixture will come too soon for winger Siriki Dembele, who could resume full training within the next week.
Doncaster captain Ben Whiteman is expected to return to contention after a knee injury.
Whiteman had played every minute of every league game prior to missing last week’s home draw against Accrington.
Tom Anderson, Jon Taylor, and Madger Gomes all returned to the starting line-up for that game and boss Darren Moore is likely to make further changes.
Goalkeeper Ian Lawlor (shoulder) is still out as Rovers chase their first league win in five matches.
