Lee Brown and Brandon Haunstrup out for Pompey

Portsmouth are missing defenders Lee Brown and Brandon Haunstrup for their Sky Bet League One clash with Wycombe.

Brown and Haunstrup are in rehabilitation after undergoing surgery for respective Achilles and knee injuries.

Striker Oli Hawkins could return to the squad after missing the last two games because of the birth of his son.

Midfielder Bryn Morris, who has not played this season, continues to rehabilitate a groin injury.

Wycombe striker Adebayo Akinfenwa is suspended for the trip to Fratton Park.

Akinfenwa was sent off in the 26th minute of the 1-0 defeat at Oxford for receiving two yellow cards, the second of them incurred for grabbing an opponent around the throat.

Otherwise boss Gareth Ainsworth has the luxury of entering the festive period with a squad largely untroubled by injury.

“I can’t wait for Portsmouth away on Boxing Day now. We’ll be without Akinfenwa for that one, but so be it,” Ainsworth said.
