Carlisle could have McKirdy back for clash with Northampton

Harry McKirdy could return for Carlisle as they take on Northampton in Sky Bet League Two.
The midfielder tried to train on Thursday and had a bad reaction, and was rested during his side’s 2-0 defeat at Plymouth but has a chance of featuring on Tuesday.
Winger Nathan Thomas might be pushing for a starting place after coming off the bench twice during his side’s last two matches.
Nathan Knight-Percival could feature after missing training sessions last week and was an unused substitute on Saturday.
Northampton boss Keith Curle is expected to be cautious over the fitness of experienced midfielder Alan McCormack.
In only his second start of the season at the weekend, during the Cobblers’ 2-0 win over Salford, McCormack was withdrawn in the 56th minute with Tuesday’s clash in mind.
Sean Whaler continues to edge closer to a return after resuming training on grass last week.
Midfielder Ryan Watson remains on the long-term injured list after his operation following a broken collarbone.
