Cook looking to start as Mansfield entertain Salford

Andy Cook will be hoping he has earned his first start for Mansfield after his two goals earned them a draw at Forest Green.
The 28-year-old’s goals earned his side a point and he could be in line for his full debut against Salford as a result.
Stags manager John Dempster will be without Danny Rose, who faces several weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
Hayden White will also be unavailable as he serves the suspension he picked up against Grimsby.
Graham Alexander’s bid for a third successive Salford win was scuppered as they were defeated 2-0 at Northampton.
Captain Adam Rooney provided the only glimpses of an Ammies comeback and can expect to lead the line again.
Competition continues in defence between centre-backs Sam Hughes and Nathan Pond.
The former is favoured, but perhaps vulnerable after last weekend’s performance.
